Edward Kodinsky
Chairman of the board
Mr. Edward Kodinsky received B.S. and M.S. from Moscow Institute of Electronic Machinery and has completed Ph.D. program in the State Scientific and Research Institute of Metal Processing in Moscow. In October 1989 Mr. Kodinsky founded Conextions, Inc. and became its President and CEO. Conextions, Inc., of North Andover, MA was a pioneer in integrating mainframe legacy systems with the World Wide Web using Object Oriented tools and technology. In 1999, Conextions products and technology were acquired by WRQ, Inc. of Seattle, WA, which continues to market and sell products based on Conextions technology. Mr. Kodinsky continues to consult Businesses and Non-Profit organizations throughout the nation. He combines strong scientific background with solid business and organizational skills as well as his love for music.
Elena Blinder
Artistic Director
Ms. Blinder studied at Hartt School of Music, Hartford, CT and received her B.M. and M.M. in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA. Ellina was a 1st prizewinner of the Connecticut Young Artists Competition and the 2nd prizewinner in Massachusetts Young Pianists Competition. In 1983 Ellina was selected to participate in Tanglewood Festival in Lenox Mass. as well as Aspen Festival in Colorado. Ellina performed solo and chamber music in Gerona Festival in Spain as well as concerts in England and Russia. Her chamber music collaborations included the members of Concertgebouw Orchestra and Boston Pops. Together with Lilia Muchnik, violin, Ellina performs frequently as a Boston Duo. Boston Duo's discography includes a recording of all J.S. Bach keyboard and violin sonatas as well as a disc titled Violin and Piano Duets, both on Classical Recording Company Label. She teaches piano and chamber music both privately and in St. Marks School in Southborough, MA.
Suzanna Polk
Artistic Director, Chamber Music Festival of New England
Suzanne Polk began her study of the cello at the Juilliard School of Music with Harvey Shapiro and continued her studies at New England Conservatory with Laurence Lesser and British cellist Colin Carr. She is the recipient of the Stamford Young Artists' Award and has performed with the Arden String Quartet, the Virag Piano Trio, the Boston Duo and the multi media ensemble Melodic Vision. An active freelance musician Suzanne has appeared with the Boston Ballet Orchestra, the Rhode Island Philharmonic, Springfield Symphony, Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Opera North and the Manadnock Music Festival. A dedicated teacher, Ms. Polk is an Affiliate Cello Artist at the University of Vermont and has taught on the faculty of Middlebury College, the New England Conservatory Preparatory School Division, the Longy School of Music and the International Chamber Music Festival and Institute at the St. Mark's School.
Tanya Kodinsky
Music Director, Piano Chamber Music Ensembles
Ms. Kodinsky has completed her education in Moscow. She has graduated from the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory and received her B.M. and M.M degrees in Piano Performance, Chamber Music and Education from Gnessin Institute of Music in Moscow. After coming to US in 1981, Tanya and her family settled in Andover, MA where she was teaching piano and coaching chamber music ensembles at Phillips Academy. Tanya performed at Isabella Gardner Museum, Phillips Academy and various other places throughout New England.
Lilia Muchnik
Music Director, String Chamber Music Ensembles
Ms. Muchnik has received her B.M. and M.M. degrees in violin performance from the Gnessin Institute of Music in Moscow with Highest Honors. After completing her Artist Diploma, Lilia became an Assistant Professor of violin in her Alma Mater, Gnessin Institute of Music. Lilia was the 3rd prizewinner in the Russian National Violin Competition. She received a Special Prize for the Best Performance of Contemporary music in the National Union Violin Competition. Lilia was a member of the Radio and Television String Quartet, with whom she concertized in Berlin, Budapest and Algiers and made several recordings under Russian Musical Archive Label. She has traveled extensively throughout the former Soviet Union as a solo and chamber musician. Together with the pianist Ellina Blinder Lilia performs frequently as a Boston Duo. Currently, Ms. Muchnik is on the violin faculty of the New England Conservatory, Division of Preparatory and Continuing Education.
